Baked rice-tuna burgers

If you get tired of the classic combination of rice and tuna, try this dish in a new dress - baked rice-tuna burgers with cheese are a great change. You can serve them either alone or with your favorite sauce - I recommend this homemade sauce, for example: Healthy tartar sauce from yogurt or tzatziki.

For these roasted rice-tuna burgers, I used tuna in Sun&Sea sunflower oil. However, if you would like to lighten this recipe, you can also use Sun&Sea tuna in your own juice. The recipe will work for you in both cases. You can use grated mozzarella or another, less fatty type of cheese as cheese.

You can serve these tuna patties with rice, for example, as dinner or as a nutritionally valuable snack during the day. It's a perfect recipe, especially if you need to consume cooked rice.

I hope you will like it - at home we just got dusty :)

Ingredients:

150 g rice (eg jasmine)

2x80 g tuna in sunflower oil (I recommend this)

100 g grated cheese (eg mozzarella)

1 egg

1/2 tea spoon salt

1/2 tea spoon marjoram

1/4 tea spoon ground sweet pepper

Cooking procedure:

Pour twice the volume of water over the rice and cook it gently. After cooking, let it cool for a while.

Later, we move the rice to a bowl, where we mix it with tuna stripped of oil and juice, spices, salt, egg and grated cheese.

We mix the dough well by hand and then form smaller meatballs with it by hand, which we place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. We make sure that the meatballs are higher, they flatten a bit during baking.

Bake the meatballs for about 25 minutes at 185 degrees until golden.

Bon appetite
