Who wouldn't love homemade pizza snails, though? This time, however, I prepared them in a fit version and with tuna. Fit pizza snails with tuna have great nutritional value and will delight as a tasty dinner or snack for the family, or for school or work. Come try them, they are quite easy to prepare, and so delicious.

You can calmly make an experiment with the recipe and use your favorite ingredients in it - for example, mushrooms, olives, fresh herbs or red pepper will be useful. For the most authentic taste, i recommend not to miss the pizza spices, which you can buy in almost every store and supermarket.

I used 2 cans from a three-pack of Sun&Sea tuna in own juice for the recipe. This recipe will enrich our amount of protein and also omega 3 fatty acids. So if you have not enough fish in your menu, even this tasty fit meal can help you balance this deficiency.

We prepare snail pizza without a puff pastry, you can use either lavash or tortillas. Nutritional values are calculated using lavash, which contains slightly less calories than tortillas. Do not bake snail pizza unnecessarily long to prevent it from drying out. From the stated amount of raw materials, will come out 1 sheet of snails.

Ingredients

  • 2 x 80 g tuna in brine (I recommend this)
  • 150 g lavash (1 plate), or tortilla
  • 50 g tomato puree
  • 1 soup spoon of water
  • 100 g grated mozzarella
  • 50 g corn
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/3 tea spoon oregano
  • 1 soup spoon pizza spice

Cooking procedure

  1. We fold the lavash plate in half.
  2. In a bowl, mix the tomato puree with a soup spoon of water, oregano, crushed cloves of garlic and pizza with spices.
  3. Spread the lavash with the tomato mixture.
  4. We place corn, grated mozzarella and juiced tuna on top, which we crushed with a fork.
  5. We roll the dough from the edge and cut it into wheels (approximately 3 cm thick).
  6. We place the sliced snails on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake them for about 7 minutes at 180 degrees.

Bon appetite.
